Frankenmuth ChristKindlMarkt, "A Handmade Christmas"

Frankenmuth is fondly known by some as "Christmas Town, USA." Here's one of the top reasons why.

For years, Frankenmuth Farmers Market has held the largest Christmas market in Saginaw County known as Frankenmuth ChristKindlMarkt. This traditional Christmas market, modeled after those held in Frankenmuth's sister region of Germany, brings a touch of magic to the city each year. It's full of artisans selling handmade gifts and goods.

Held at the Frankenmuth Farmers Market, November 26th thru 28th, December 3rd thru 5th and December 10th thru 12th! Open Friday and Saturday from 11am to 8pm and Sunday, 11am to 4pm.

The FFM grounds have been refreshed for Christmas with the entire facility dressed in Christmas lighting and sparkle. Just in time for the opening weekend, a large Christmas tree is being delivered and setup in the center grass of the FFM courtyard and decorated with warm white lights and giant bulbs in the FFM brand colors. 

A greens and tree lot is being setup at the front of the building where visitors can shop for all of the natural décor perfect for adding holiday flair and fresh scents to their homes for the season. 

The Market Gathering Barn – used year round as a space for family events – is being magically transformed into Frankenmuth’s new “Christmas Town Pub,” serving up warm Glühwein, cold beers, and piping hot cocoa. The smells of concessions featuring Market Made hot soups, fresh baked breads, and freshly grilled Willi’s Sausages will fill the air. 

Also onsite will be staged photo spaces for family pictures, Christmas music, and visits from a true Christmas celebrity – St. Nick! All this and more will round out the truly enchanting Christmas experience and make for the perfect date night getaway or family adventure.
